Patient journey
Your journey, step by step
From the first photo you send to the follow-up messages after you fly home: the whole dental journey, with nothing airbrushed out.
The full journey
From first photo to finished smile
Ten steps in three chapters. You always know what comes next, and nothing happens without your agreement.

Before you fly
Everything is planned from home, free and without obligation.
From home

Send your photos
A few smile photos from your phone, plus X-rays if you have them. It takes a few minutes and costs nothing.
-

Your written plan
The dental team reviews your case and sends a plan tooth by tooth: treatments, materials and number of visits.
-

Your trip, organised
You book the flights. Your coordinator arranges transfers, helps with your hotel and schedules every appointment.

In Tirana
Treatment in clinical order, at a pace that respects your comfort.
Your stay
-

Arrival and consultation
You are met on arrival. At the clinic you meet your treating dentist, the plan is confirmed on examination, and you ask anything.
-

Treatment stages
Foundations first, then restorative and cosmetic stages, under local anaesthesia and always with your agreement.
-

Laboratory days
While your ceramics are crafted, Tirana is yours: coffee, the old town or simply rest. Temporaries keep you presentable.
-

Fitting and bite check
Try-in, your approval, final placement and fine-tuning of the bite. The plan ends as it began: with your sign-off.

03
Back home
Your coordinator stays with you after you fly.
Ongoing
-

Aftercare handover
Written care instructions, a hygiene routine and any medication guidance before you leave.
-

Follow-up from home
Check-ins on WhatsApp, photo reviews when useful and a direct line for urgent questions.
-

Second visit, if planned
For implant plans, your second visit is scheduled once healing allows, to fit your final teeth.
-
Before you book flightsOne trip or two?
The clinic and laboratory finish their work while you are in Tirana.
Implants are placed on the first visit. Your final teeth are fitted on the second, a few months later, once the bone has healed.
Your written plan confirms the number of visits before you book anything.

International patients
Practical essentials for your trip
Most of our patients arrive by plane, so the whole system is built around it.
-
What to bring
Your passport, any X-rays or dental records you have, and a list of the medication you take.
-
Entry rules
Citizens of the EU, the UK, the US and many other countries can visit Albania without a visa for short stays. Check the current rules for your country.
-
Money
Albania uses the lek (ALL). Cards are widely accepted in Tirana, and payment terms are confirmed in writing before you travel.
-
Bring a companion
Partners and friends are welcome. We help plan transfers and hotels for two.
-
One coordinator
One person, in your language, from your first message to your final follow-up.
-
Help when you need it
A direct line for urgent concerns, during your stay and after you are home.
Before you travel
How soon can I get an appointment?
After your free photo review and written plan, treatment visits are usually scheduled within weeks, around your flights and, for staged plans, around healing.
How long will I need to stay?
It depends on your plan. Veneers and crowns usually need one visit; implants usually need two, a few months apart. Your written plan confirms your schedule before you book flights.
What if I need help during my stay?
Your coordinator is one message away throughout, and a direct line covers urgent concerns. You will never be navigating a foreign health system alone.
What happens if I need an adjustment after I get home?
We start with a photo review and guidance; many small issues can be resolved locally with our advice. For staged plans, the follow-up visit includes a full clinical review.
