Recovery mirrors the component treatments: a few days of sensitivity after preparation, temporaries in between, and normal eating shortly after final bonding. The risk profile also inherits from the components — irreversible preparation where crowns and veneers are used, ceramic chipping under grinding, and margin decay without maintenance. What is specific to makeovers is sequencing risk: cosmetic work placed over untreated disease fails early.
